We also perform Vaccum assisted stereotactic biopsy of the breast. Our team is committed to serve the patients by accurate screening and diagnosis of the lesions in breast.
We perform more than 3000 mammograms a year and offer a plethoric opportunity for research and education.
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY SCREENING GUIDELINES 2018:
– Women ages 40 to 44 should have the choice to start annual breast cancer screening with mammograms if they wish to do so.
– 45 to 54 – should get mammograms every year.
– 55 & older – mammograms every 2 years/ or can continue yearly screening.
– Screening should continue as long as a woman is in good health and is expected to live 10 more years or longer.
